The first one failed after one use but you replaced it at no charge and it works fine.

Confused

Why ask the thickness and flavor? You cook with it not eat it. Other wise works great. Best steak and chops l��ve ever had. Try one I��m sure you��ll like it.

Very convenient kitchen addition!

This is my first time owning a sous vide, and I have to say I'm convinced! After just a few uses, I can tell it will be an essential kitchen item from now on. It is very easy to set up and just leave it to do its thing. I've left it going while out on errands or at work and come home to some well cooked food. I haven't tried steak yet, but I can't wait to do that. Everything so far has been tasty and cooked well. I really like how the vacuum sealing gets flavors infused into meats really well. Very happy so far!

Best investment to the kitchen tool set

Always wanted to add a Sous Vide to my kitchen collection however they are always expensive, until I came across this one. It is simple and easy to use, it heats the water evenly and like all the Sous Vide, it cooks my steak perfectly. And what makes it best is I no longer need to worry about over cooking and stay at my grill. My grill time went from 25 mins down to 3 mins (for 4 1.5 inch cut steaks).For a medium - I put it on 137F and leave it in for 1.5 hrs. then sear the steak 30 sec each side on high heat for 3 mins w/ butter (6 flips). 130F would leave you a on the medium rare temp.I already put it into use since day one and over the weekend I made two dishes with this - duck breast and roast besides ribeye i have been making daily. So far for 5 days 5 meals they all came out prefect. I tried to prepare my steak in different temperature.Hints: I would measure the water level (start with min level in order for you to start the Sous Vide). After you add your item the water level would go up. When I first using it I added the water to max and when I put in my steak it went above max, so I adjust my Sous Vide to higher level. I learned not need to waste water for my 2nd attempt. When I was making for the roast I end up had to took some water out of the pot.Suggestion: it would be nice if they include a storage case / bag.

Well made and easy to use

Hubby wanted me to order a sous Vide after seeing one at his friends place.We are not much of a meat eater.Anyway curiosity got the better of me too.I picked this brand Bonsenkitchen��s Sous Vide.It came well packaged.Took 5 days but it is normal delivery time for Oregon Coast.Unboxing took about 5 mins.Came with simple and easy to follow instructions.I mainly learned to cook with it by watching YouTube videos.I've been very happy with it's cooking performance
