Toasted Granola with Almonds

Made-from-scratch granola needs only a few staple ingredients. For extra texture and flavor, add a handful of dried fruit after baking the granola.

Ingredients:

2⁄3 cup rolled oats
1⁄3 cup shredded sweetened coconut
1⁄3 cup sliced almonds
1 tsp. canola oil
2 tsp. honey
1⁄4 tsp. kosher salt

Instructions:


1. Set the air fryer to 360°F.
2. In a medium bowl, combine the rolled oats, shredded sweetened coconut, sliced almonds, canola oil, honey, and kosher salt.
3. Place a small piece of parchment paper on the bottom of the air fryer baking pan, then pour the mixture into the pan and distribute it evenly. Cook for 5 minutes, pause the fryer to gently stir the granola, and cook
for 3 more minutes.
4. Remove the granola from the fryer and allow to cool in the pan on a wire rack for 5 minutes, then transfer the granola to a serving plate to cool completely before serving. (It becomes crunchier as it cools. Store the granola in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.)
